Coaching the MD of a subsidiary of an industrial group
Situation: Aafter a long career as a member of the management committee of his group, this 51-year old is replaced, and is faced with rebuilding his credibility at the head of one of the lesser-known subsidiaries in a hitherto unknown industrial sector
Aims : successfully take charge of this 700-strong company, and make it profitable.
Results : a lot of intensive work was accomplished in taking a hard look at his past, his relationship to others and to the reality of the world, and at his new role as an entrepreneur. He discovered untapped resources within himself as a leader and developer of his top-level people. His management committee was renewed, and a return to profits undertaken.
