Previous experience
Marion began her career with Mars, a multinational family business. She formed part of the team sent to Portugal in order to establish the company subsidiary there in 1989. Subsequently recruited by Spontex (part of the Total group of companies), Marion occupied various strategic and operational marketing positions over a period of seven years, both in the UK and at the headquarters in France. In 1998 she joined Bahlsen, a German family business, where she was Marketing Director of the French subsidiary for six years and the only female member of the Board of Directors. Marion’s work experience led her to the realisation that technical expertise is not sufficient in order to progress and to succeed within the work environment : emotional intelligence and inter-relational skills are equally essential. When the Executive Committee of which Marion was a member was coached, Marion discovered the benefits of coaching first-hand. As a result, she decided to undertake coaching training and to integrate a coaching approach into her management style. In 2003, Marion decided to dedicate her professional career to coaching. She resumed her studies, and graduated with a degree in Work Psychology. She also trained in Gestalt Therapy and the systemic approach. Marion founded her own company Crealyde, and then joined the Praesta France team in 2011. Marion is married and has 4 children.
Coaching
Marion coaches executives and high potential managers in multinational organisations. She also runs coaching sessions for teams and for other groups in the workplace. She has developed specific expertise in the area of women’s leadership and runs coaching sessions for executive women at both individual and group level. She also has particular expertise in facilitating the transmission process of family businesses, her work experience within family businesses giving her insight into the complexities thereof. Marion coaches in French and in English.
